Let´s make the world premiere of Goethe´s Magic Flute II
We all love Mozart´s world hit Magic Flute. Also Goethe did and wrote a sequel “The second part of Magic Flute” [Der Zauberflöte zweyter Theil].
Since the librettist of THE world famous Magic Flute, Emanuel Schikaneder came ahead of him with his Magic Flute II “The Labyrinth” Goethe stopped his libretto and it remained a fragment until 1891. Then the Liszt student Karl Eduard Goepfart made Gottfried Stommel complete the fragment to a romantic-dramatical opera and composed the opera Sarastro which he wanted to perform for the 100th anniversary of Mozarts death. But it came different and Sarastro was never performed scenically so far since 1891. I was lucky to discover the historical manuscript and publish the opera performance material and prepare everything for a performance.
We can get the World Premiere of Sarastro performed joining together for this project with a risk-less investment of just 67 $ of at least 5.000 micro-investors:
